24-Hour Prayer Vigil

Why?

Guys, we are facing some trying times right now. Our workouts are stopping, our schools are closed, our businesses are shutting down. Lucky for us we have a loving Father who cries out to us;

Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. Matthew 11:28-29

We did this last year and God showed up! Guys who took part in this were moved by the Spirit and prayers were answered! So here we are! God is leading this. He is going to show up again and change lives right before our eyes! It's time to Shield Lock!

The Details

WHO:
All men and their Ms who want to sign up and participate

WHAT:
- A 24-hour prayer vigil!
- Over the next week men from around the region (and maybe even nation) will submit prayer requests. SUBMIT PRAYERS HERE -- no need to submit a prayer for curing the Covid-19: that's already on there.
- At the same time men from around the region (and maybe even nation) will sign up for 30 minute blocks to pray over the prayer requests. SIGN UP TO BE A PRAYER WARRIOR HERE. Each 30 minute block has 6 slots so more than one guy can take a slot. Feel free to take more than 1 block as well. THERE IS NO LIMIT to how many guys can sign up!!

WHEN:
STARTS: 12PM Tuesday March 31st
ENDS: 12PM Wednesday April 1st

WHERE:
This is up to you #freedtolead! Get a group of pax, meet with chairs in a parking lot, do it at your desk at work, make it a family event, do it while you drive. Just be intentional about praying during your assigned time.

WHY:
Because God is the answer, the healer, the comforter, the father, the protector in the lives of those who need Him most right now. Let's take the focus off the virus and put the focus on God!
